    Terms of Service

    Last updated 2026-10-03

These terms cover your use of statalyzer.ca and app.statalyzer.ca ("Statalyzer"). Statalyzer is a personal, non-commercial project run by the Statalyzer team in Ontario, Canada. By using Statalyzer, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

    What Statalyzer is

Statalyzer shows NHL statistics, projections, player values and predictions, along with fantasy hockey tools such as rankings, a draft tool and roster helpers. It's free to use, and there are no ads.

    Projections are estimates, not promises

Projections, rankings, predictions, win odds and other analysis on Statalyzer are statistical estimates. They can be wrong. Stats sources can have errors or delays, and injuries and lineups change quickly.

    • Don't use Statalyzer for betting or gambling decisions. It isn't betting advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to place a wager.
    • For fantasy decisions, use the site as one input among many. Your league results are your call.

    Using the site fairly

    Please don't:

    • break into, overload or disrupt the site, or try to get around its security or access limits
    • scrape or download the site in bulk with automated tools, or copy large parts of its data into another product
    • use the site for anything illegal

Normal personal use is always fine: looking things up, sharing links, and quoting a stat with credit to Statalyzer.

    Your content

The league names, team names and rosters you enter belong to you. You give us permission to store them and show them back to you, only so the tools work. Don't enter other people's personal information, such as their full names or contact details.

    Data sources and ownership

Statalyzer's stats come from public sources, including the NHL's public API, ESPN's public injury feed, HockeyTech (the AHL, OHL, WHL, QMJHL and USHL), and College Hockey News. Those sources own their data. The NHL and NHL team names and logos are trademarks of the National Hockey League and its clubs, and they're used here only to identify teams.

Statalyzer is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHL, the NHLPA, any NHL team, ESPN, Yahoo, or any other fantasy platform.

Statalyzer's own work belongs to the Statalyzer team. That includes its design, code, projections, player values and written analysis.

    Availability and changes

This is a small hobby project. Features can change, break or disappear, and the site can go down or shut down, sometimes without notice. The Fantasy tools' sandbox is temporary. Its data is erased after 24 hours without use or when the app restarts, so don't rely on it to store anything.

    No warranty

Statalyzer is provided "as is", with no guarantees that it will be accurate, complete, available or fit for any particular purpose.

    Limits of liability

As far as the law allows, the Statalyzer team isn't responsible for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, Statalyzer. That includes fantasy losses, betting losses, lost data, or decisions made from its projections. Statalyzer is free, so if you're unhappy with it, your remedy is to stop using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

    Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll post a notice on the site if the change matters. If you keep using Statalyzer after a change, you accept the new terms.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
